Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Staten Island is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure at world-class facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role with standard business hours and on-call rotation.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network gear, perform cabling, and assist with capacity planning and upgrades. Strong documentation and problem-solving abilities are essential; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting

Compensation & Benefits

$60,000-75,000/year (USD annual)

• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable
