Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee critical data-center facilities in Clarksville, AR. You will act as senior technical resource across shifts, monitor electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems, and drive incident response and safe, reliable operation.

This onsite role requires 5+ years in data centre or mission‑critical environments, hands-on MEP experience, and the ability to read one-line diagrams and OEM docs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MEP experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical resource during assigned shifts.
• Monitor and manage electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems.
• Lead response to alarms, events, and abnormal conditions.
• Conduct detailed facility walkthroughs and validate system performance.
• Lead shift turnovers and status communications.
• Operate and maintain UPS, generators, switchgear, and PDUs.
• Operate and support chillers, cooling towers, and pumps.
• Execute system switching, load transfers, and isolations.
• Identify system deficiencies and single points of failure.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Review, validate, and execute MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Participate in change management and risk assessments.
• Oversee vendor activities and verify post-maintenance restoration.
• Enforce safety requirements (LOTO, PPE).
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and review operational logs and maintenance records.
• Contribute to procedures and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior technicians and new hires.

Operations Leadership & Monitoring

• Serve as the senior technical resource during assigned shifts
• Monitor and manage electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems

Electrical & Mechanical Systems Execution

• Operate and maintain UPS, generators, switchgear, ATS/STS, PDUs, and RPPs
• Operate and support chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, and valves
• Execute system switching, load transfers, and isolations per approved procedures
• Identify system deficiencies and single points of failure

Maintenance & Change Management

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Review, validate, and execute MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs
• Participate in change management and risk assessments
• Oversee vendor activities and verify post‑maintenance restoration

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

• Enforce LOTO, electrical safety, arc‑flash, and PPE requirements
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and review operational logs and maintenance records
• Contribute to procedures and technical documentation

Training, Mentorship & Development

• Mentor junior technicians and new hires
• Support qualification programmes and skill assessments

• Hands‑on MEP experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
