Job summary

A leading data center operator in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated individual to maintain and operate critical infrastructure within a Data Center. The role involves ensuring safety and compliance with industry practices while monitoring systems like chilled water and backup electrical setups. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key Accountabilities

• Ensure that all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure is operated and maintained in a safe manner, to best industry practice and within manufacturers’ recommendations.
• Monitor power and environmental conditions within all critical spaces within the facility.
• Perform assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with SF practices utilizing the internal CMMS.
• Assist with planning and scheduling corrective maintenance activities.
• Escort and support outside contractors, ensuring they are abiding by SF work rules and processes.
• Respond to site incidents, execute appropriate MOP/EOP documentation to resolve and/or mitigate issues and communicate to management throughout the event.
• Support and follow all SF Change Control policies and procedures.
• Perform site rounds and report any issues found to site management.

Required Skills

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent AND 2+ years experience working in a Data Center with proven success in delivering customer requirements in a critical technology environment.
• Evidence of self-management and alignment with ever‑changing priorities.
• Good written and oral communication skills, tenacity, and working to a high level of accuracy.
• Operating and maintaining chilled water‑cooling systems.
• Operating and maintaining DX cooling systems.
• Operating and maintaining backup electrical systems such as UPS and generators.
• Operating building management systems and fire alarm and detection systems.
• Building facility maintenance.
