Job summary

Serverfarm, a leader in data-center development and operation, seeks a qualified professional for on-site maintenance across critical facilities. You will ensure safe operation of MEP infrastructure, monitor power/environmental conditions, and perform CMMS-based tasks while coordinating with contractors and site management.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a data center setting, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a Data Center environment delivering customer requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-management and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MEP plant and distribution infrastructure per industry best practices.
• Monitor power and environmental conditions in critical spaces.
• Perform maintenance tasks per SF processes using CMMS.
• Support planned corrective maintenance and change control processes.
• Escort and support external contractors while enforcing SF rules.

• Ensure that all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure is operated and maintained in a safe manner, to best industry practice and within manufacturers recommendations.
• Monitor power and environmental conditions within all critical spaces within the facility.
• Perform assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with SF practices utilizing the internal CMMS.
• Assist with planning and scheduling corrective maintenance activities
• Escort and support outside contractors, ensuring they are abiding SF work rules and processes
• Respond to site incidents, execute appropriate MOP/EOP documentation to resolve and/or mitigate issues and communicate to manage throughout event.
• Support and follow all SF Change Control policies and procedures.
• Perform site rounds and report any issues found to site management.
• Participate in construction and commissioning activities as directed by site management
• Adhere to all local, state and federal safety laws and requirements
• Complete other duties as assigned by the management team
• Participate in and support MOP/SOP/EOP documentation process for site.
• Participate in and support the development of site policies and standards
• Work with site team members to deliver 100% uptime of critical infrastructure
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent AND 2+ years experience working in a Data Center with proven success in delivering customer requirements in a critical technology environment
• Evidence of self-management and alignment with ever-changing priorities
• Good written and oral communication skills, tenacity, and working to a high level of accuracy
