Job summary

Circet USA is seeking a Data Center Technician to install and maintain telecommunications equipment in our data center facilities. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service, building customer relationships, and working within a team to meet project timelines and budgets.

You will handle cabling, equipment racks, power and data pathways, while troubleshooting hardware and software issues with colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical or college degree preferred
• One year of experience
• Proficient in Microsoft programs and applications
• Proficient in IOS and/or Android applications
• Physically placing, removing, or modifying non-working equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot cabling issues and resolve problems
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve problems
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Good computer soft skills required

Responsibilities

• Install telecommunications equipment and infrastructure per customer standards
• Interface with customers and local supervisors to clarify project status
• Work well within a team and demonstrate some leadership ability
• Plan and layout installation activities to meet dates and budgeted hours; oversee others when required
• Install data center equipment, racks, cabinets, cables, and network hardware
• Identify, label, and terminate cables supplying power or data
• Conduct tests and document performance characteristics of hardware and software
• Review drawings, records, and manuals to guide work
• Perform quality validation on in-process and completed work
• Interact with Installation, Engineering and Project Management teams
