Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services in Aurora, IL is hiring a Data Center Technician I to maintain cleanliness in controlled data center environments. You will clean ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors following strict SOPs and document results.

Shift is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm. Requires a high school diploma or GED (or 1 year related experience), basic math skills, ability to learn SOPs, and the ability to pass a background check and I-9 verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1 year related experience.
• Basic math skills: add/subtract two-digit numbers; multiply/divide with 10s and 100s.
• Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Pass a background check and I-9.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines and monitor procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training on Data Center, safety, and performance.
• Clean all surfaces (ceilings, walls, equipment, floors) in controlled environments.
• Follow customer SOPs and document activities precisely.
• Identify deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions; retrain when needed.
• Assist in cross-training other personnel and support supervisor in duties.
