Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician in Wise, VA to maintain a 24x7 fleet of GPU and CPU servers in hyperscale environments. You will rack, cable, and troubleshoot thousands of devices, coordinate with facilities for power and cooling, and drive rapid hardware triage and warranty resolutions.

The role requires hands-on datacenter work, experience with GPU hardware, and a proactive approach to incident response and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

Hands-on datacenter experience with server and network equipment.
Experience racking, cabling, debugging, and upgrading thousands of servers.
Familiarity with GPU hardware and liquid-cooled rack solutions.
Ability to operate in a 24x7, high-availability environment.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain servers and network gear, including rack and stack, cabling, and device configuration.
Respond to server, network, and infrastructure issues and triage hardware problems.
Coordinate with facility staff for power, cooling and outages, escalating when needed.
Replace server components (CPU, memory, drives, motherboards, cables) and verify repairs.
Work with warranty technicians to resolve warranty issues promptly.
Identify efficiency improvements and document spare parts inventory.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment, automation, and monitoring.
Escalate issues to ensure rapid resolution with system admins.
