A leading IT staffing agency seeks a Mid-Senior level contractor in Quincy, WA for a 9-month project (possible extension). You will handle datacenter operations, including removing and staging cables, as well as performing diagnostics and troubleshooting. Qualifications
Experience of at least 6 months in IT support or related technology.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with computer hardware.
Responsibilities
Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission.
Run, label, and stage power & networking cables.
Prepare and perform basic startups and shutdowns of hardware.
Conduct physical audits of datacenter assets.
Perform diagnostic troubleshooting following standard procedures.
Skills
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components
Experience supporting IT equipment
Understanding of Microsoft Office applications
