Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling installations, equipment provisioning, testing, and ongoing operational support following Ericsson and customer standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years in data center ops, structured cabling, or IT infra support.
• Knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking gear, and power distribution systems.
• Understanding copper and fiber cabling, basic optical networking, and install standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation docs, and MOPs.
• Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installs with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety.
• Ability to collaborate with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute rack-and-stack activities within data center environments.
• Install and terminate structured cabling and provisioning of equipment.
• Test, validate, and commission hardware in accordance with procedures.
• Provide operational support and documentation to ensure safety and quality.
• Collaborate with teams to complete tasks on schedule and to specification.
