Job summary

Service Robot Co. is seeking a Data Center Technician in El Paso to install and maintain hardware inside data centers. You will work with remote engineers to complete physical tasks such as installing servers, running cables, and replacing failed parts.

The role requires experience in IT support, cabling, AV, or electronics repair, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and willingness to work overnight. You will report progress to remote engineers and document serial numbers and locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, cabling, AV, electronics repair, or building computers.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and keep accurate records.
• Comfort working independently and communicating with remote engineers.
• Availability for overnight maintenance work.
• Comfort working on your feet in cold, noisy rooms with hearing protection.
• Ability to pass a background check and site security screening.

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in-person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. Training and certifications are free for selected candidates. Your first assignment is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
