The Data Center Technician role is responsible for building, maintaining, and operating cutting‑edge data center infrastructure that powers the platform. This position involves hands‑on hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, and participation in on‑call rotations at CoreWeave's data center facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs; perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
• Assemble, install, and perform maintenance on server, networking, and test equipment
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware; maintain inventory and documentation
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on scheduled on-call rotation; travel up to 10% to other data center locations as needed

What You Need

• Computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly experience
• Linux operating system experience
• Ability to transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces for diagnostics and repair
• Availability for flexible schedules in a 24/7 environment with rotating on-call shifts; ability to work in fluctuating temperatures (60–90°F)

Nice to Have

• Hands‑on or education‑based experience with data center operations, computer networking, hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Python, Bash, or other scripting languages experience
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in an IT‑related field
