Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Kapolei, HI for a full-time, on-site role supporting critical infrastructure at world-class data center facilities. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment while performing structured cabling and environmental monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of data center operations, strong troubleshooting, and excellent documentation skills, with preferred vendor certifications and ITIL knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills with Cat6/6a and OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Experience with rack and stack operations.
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
