Job summary

Reboot Monkey is hiring a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure at a world-class facility in Hamilton, United States. This is a full-time, on-site role with standard business hours and on-call rotation.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, execute cabling, and monitor environmental systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations and relevant certifications; on-site work requires lifting and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with rack and stack operations.
• Understanding of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
