Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. This role is ideal for technicians with experience in data center operations, telecommunications, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure who are ready to work independently on standard deployment and operational tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment.
• Understanding of copper and fiber cabling practices and installation standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and installation documentation (MOPs).
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installations with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety.
• Ability to collaborate with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute rack-and-stack activities and structured cabling installations.
• Provision equipment, perform testing, and provide operational support.
• Ensure work is performed safely and according to Ericsson and customer standards.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and customers to complete tasks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and MOPs to guide installations.
