Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. This role is ideal for technicians with experience in data center operations, telecommunications, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure who are ready to work independently on standard deployment and operational tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in data center operations, structured cabling, field services or IT infrastructure support.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, power distribution and structured cabling.
• Understanding copper and fiber cabling practices, basic optical networking concepts and installation standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation documentation and MOPs.
• Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing and equipment installation with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to collaborate with technicians, project teams, vendors and customers while managing assigned work independently.
