Job summary

Service Robot Co. in Bellflower, California, is seeking an on-site contractor to install and maintain hardware inside data centers. You will work with remote engineers to complete physical tasks like installing servers, running cables, and replacing failed parts.

Responsibilities

• Install, cable, and label servers, switches, and storage equipment.
• Replace drives, memory, power supplies, fans, and optical components.
• Test repairs before closing work tickets.
• Run, terminate, and test copper and fiber cabling.
• Follow diagrams, work instructions, and approved maintenance schedules.
• Give remote engineers clear updates on what you see and do.
• Record equipment serial numbers, connections, and locations.
• Follow site security procedures when removing or disposing of hardware.

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in-person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. The Academy is certificate training that we subsidize. Your first assignment is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
