Job summary

Job description

The Data Center Technician will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing Nebius’s data center IT infrastructure.

• troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues
• performing hardware and network diagnostics
• carrying out physical repairs
• ensuring smooth operation of critical systems

This is a shift-based role and may require travel between data center locations.

The position is based in Vineland, New Jersey within our colocation facility.

Specific duties include:

• diagnosing IT hardware issues
• maintaining data center IT connectivity
• coordinating with internal teams and external contractors
• installing, upgrading and dismantling hardware
• managing fiber optic connectivity
• planning and executing routine IT tasks
• processing RMAs
• documenting hardware configurations and procedures

The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders, leading specific workflows or projects, and monitoring progress on assigned initiatives.

Preferred experience includes:

• 3+ years diagnosing server hardware issues
• knowledge of data center operations
• Linux proficiency
• experience with enterprise-grade switches and fiber
• strong Excel skills

A valid driving license and project planning skills are a plus.

We offer a competitive compensation package with an hourly range of $38/hr - 44/hr depending on experience.
