Job summary

TEKsystems has an on-site contract-to-hire opportunity in Levittown, PA for a data center technician. The role requires performing cabling, trunking, patching and documentation in a live data center environment.

The candidate should be comfortable with labor-intensive tasks and moving cabinets with protective measures in place. Hours are 5:00pm to 1:30am, Monday through Friday, with compensation ranging from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in live Data Center environments with MMR, cross-connects, network cages and cabinets.
• Experience pulling and terminating Cat6A cable and fiber patching.
• Surveying, patching and documenting work.
• Ability to move heavy equipment and protect the environment during laborious tasks.

Description

This role is on-site in Levittown PA. The hours are 5:00pm - 1:30am Monday thru Friday

The client is looking for those that have experience with the following.

• Experience working in a live Data Center, understanding MMR - cross connects - Network Cages - cabinets - switches ( Trunking )
• Experience pulling and terminating Cat6A Cable and fiber patching and Trunking
• Experience surveying, patching and documenting.
• The ability and willingness to handle labor intensive work, ie. moving cabinet using plywood to protect environment.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
