Aerotek in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians for permanent, full-time work on large-scale technology projects. You will install and route fiber, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality standards on site.

Fiber Installation Technician

$20+/Hr Starting Pay | Overtime Available | Large-Scale Technology Projects

Looking for a hands‑on career in the rapidly growing telecommunications and data infrastructure industry? We're hiring Fiber Installation Technicians to support large-scale projects involving fiber optic cable installation, routing, and pathway systems.

This role is ideal for candidates with fiber, low voltage, telecommunications, construction, electrical, or cable installation experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for overtime and career growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Install and route fiber optic cable through conduit, innerduct, and pathway systems

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working in confined spaces and active construction environments
• Valid driver's license

Schedule

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $93600.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
