Job summary

Meta in Menlo Park seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to lead the integration of new hardware platforms and data center tooling, focusing on design for serviceability and scalable deployment.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and leadership to validate infrastructure tooling, develop test plans for AI/ML compute, storage and networking, and triage field issues while promoting ethical AI practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or commensurate technical experience with 10+ years in system administration or engineering.
• Strong communications skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience evaluating new hardware tooling and validating AI/ML, compute, storage or networking equipment.
• Experience developing and executing test plans from specifications using industry-standard tools.
• Familiarity with ASIC, compute, storage & network architecture and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a global environment with distributed teams.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP, C++, or Java and Linux utilities.
• Knowledge of AI/ML hardware development and deployment at scale.
• Ability to guide hardware platform integration policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design for DFS requirements development and deployment readiness.
• Validate new data center hardware tooling and automation for scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations and leadership.
• Develop test plans for operational integration of AI/ML compute, storage and networking products.
• Triages field failures and drives hardware/tooling improvements.
