Job summary

Skillforce is hiring Skilled Laborers for a long-term data center project in Abilene, TX. This contract role offers an immediate start with up to 12-hour shifts, including weekends, and pay up to $35/hour based on experience.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of construction or similar experience, can read assembly instructions and drawings, and is willing to pass a 10-panel drug test and complete site safety orientation. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction or similar experience preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
• Able to pass a recent 10-panel drug test.
• Must be willing to complete required site safety orientation before beginning work.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools, power tools, and torque tools safely and accurately.
• Read and follow assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, align, fasten, and torque components as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all site safety procedures and requirements.
• Work extended shifts, weekends, and consecutive days as project demands require.
