Job summary

Medcor Safety is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Professional to support a large-scale data center project in Castroville, Texas. This is a full-time, field-based safety role working with construction crews and site leadership to identify hazards and ensure OSHA compliance.

The position offers $45.00-$50.00 per hour (W2), 50-60 hours per week, and per diem. The project is 9-12 months, focused on dirt work and underground utilities, with opportunities to advance safety practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and jobsite safety practices.
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.

Responsibilities

• Identify construction safety hazards and mitigate risk.
• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Observe crews to identify unsafe conditions and reinforce safe practices.
• Document and communicate findings from site inspections and audits.
• Support OSHA and project safety requirements across the site.
• Review training records and participate in Site-Specific Safety Plans.
• Participate in kickoff meetings, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
