Job summary

Google LLC in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating with cross-functional partners across the company.

The role focuses on planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying risks, and communicating progress across offices and time zones. This is an on-site role in the United States with emphasis on data-driven decision making and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program, project management, data center operations, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, and performing statistical analysis.
• Experience with technical integration, system integration, risk mitigation, deployment planning, or data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Site Technical Lead (STL) and partners onsite to implement site-specific technical strategies.
• Monitor milestone achievement throughout the data center lifecycle and drive site-wide execution tracking.
• Oversee project schedules and delivery for complex deployments across DC Facilities, Server Operations, Logistics, Networking, and Security.
• Support the site in delivering Service Level Objectives and provide early warnings of potential delays.
• Develop and uphold a framework for program enhancement using data-driven insights and industry standards.

Preferred qualifications:

• Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP).


• Ability to bring creative, non-standard, and innovative solutions using data and analytics to drive impact.


• Ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze large data sets to support hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations.


• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to create workable project plans including project scope.


• Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Collaborate with the Site Technical Lead (STL) and all partner teams onsite to implement site-specific technical strategies, monitor milestone achievement throughout the data center lifecycle, and own site-wide execution tracking to drive site-wide milestone convergence throughout the end-to-end site lifecycle.


• Oversee project schedules and delivery for intricate deployments, ensuring seamless coordination and convergence with DC Facilities, Server Operations, Logistics, Networking, Security, Construction, EHS, and other key partner organizations.


• Support the site in delivering Service Level Objectives, providing early warnings on potential delays; partner in proactive identification and resolution of anticipated issues.


• Orchestrate the integrated Rhythm of Business, regular business communications, and status updates for site management, Area Leads, and the Global Site Tech Lead Program Owner.


• Develop and uphold a framework for program enhancement by utilizing data-driven insights, historical project reviews, and evolving industry standards.
