Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a senior Site Procurement Lead to drive the US data center land strategy, securing powered land and negotiating leases with operators. You will perform rigorous diligence on power, buildability, and permitting, while managing brokers and developers across multiple projects.

You will partner with Finance on multi-year capital planning and work cross-functionally to align stakeholders on timelines and commercial terms. Expect 20%+ travel to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate with a focus on data centers or large industrial projects.
• Ability to rapidly assess land viability for data center development: power, buildability, permitting.
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel 20%+ as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site procurement strategy for the US data center portfolio, sourcing and evaluating powered land and negotiating leases with data center operators.
• Conduct site due diligence: evaluate utility and behind-the-meter power at 200MW+ scale, and assess buildability through documents and reports.
• Understand permitting requirements at each site and their implications for construction timelines.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, landowners, and developers, and perform vendor due diligence including on-site audits with engineers.
• Collaborate with Finance on multi-year investment and lead commercial negotiations with landowners and developers.
