Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer for a Toledo, OH data center project. This permanent, on-site role involves hands-on electrical design, construction drawing development, and field coordination to deliver reliable power systems.

Qualifications include a bachelor's in electrical engineering, experience with power distribution and codes, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Bluebeam. Per diem, full family benefits, and a vehicle allowance enhance the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Data center or control center project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution systems and develop detailed construction drawings.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and cable schedules.
• Perform electrical calculations, size equipment and conductors, and develop specifications.
• Incorporate vendor equipment information into coordinated electrical designs and IFC packages.
• Resolve technical issues during construction, respond to RFIs, and develop engineering solutions for field changes.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.
