Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced Data Center Site Selection Manager to lead acquisition, negotiate leases, and drive site viability assessments for large-scale data center portfolios. You will collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to shape leasing standards and strategy.

The role requires extensive deal-making experience, strategic analytics, and domestic travel to manage portfolio growth and site selection across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, environmental or energy related discipline.
• 8+ years experience in facilitating, evaluating, or managing data center capacity projects.
• Experience collaborating across legal, compliance, finance and accounting.
• Familiarity with lease structures (Modified Gross, NNN, YoC).
• Experience leading large scale data center lease negotiations.
• Proven ability synthesizing commercial, regulatory, market and contractual details for all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center acquisition and lease contracting negotiations.
• Perform technical due diligence and validate site viability across energy, land, etc.
• Manage supplier relationships and best practices.
• Perform market analysis and develop leasing site selection strategy.
• Stay informed of technical, market and regulatory developments in the data center industry.
• Contribute to organizational strategy and development of leasing standards at Meta.
• Travel domestically (10-25% at times).

Education

Bachelor's degree in business

Bachelor's degree in engineering/environmental/energy related discipline

8+ years experience in facilitating, evaluating, or managing data center capacity projects

Cross-functional collaboration (legal, compliance, finance, accounting)

Experience leading large scale data center lease negotiations
