Job summary

Markley is New England’s largest and longest operating multi-tenant, mission-critical telecommunication, and data center with facilities in Boston and Lowell MA. Markley Properties is looking to add a highly skilled team member to our Lowell Shipping Team.

This person will report directly to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor and will be responsible to perform all aspects of the job in the facility. Responsibilities include handling of all incoming shipments with proper documentation, scanning

Qualifications

• Ability to use handheld computer for package tracking & inventory (IntelliTrack PackageTrack knowledge preferable, but not required)
• Working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good verbal and organizational skills
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• High school diploma or GED required
• Forklift training or certification preferred, but not required
• Previous experience working in a data center preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Responsible for information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability (CIA) of Markley Group information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
