Job summary

jobs-veteransprime seeks a Data Center Senior Service Tech (HVAC Mechanic) to work on advanced smart building controls and facility systems in a safety-first environment focused on long-term growth.

The role involves diagnostics, PMs, and repairs on chillers, air handlers, and digital networks; veterans with mechanical, electrical, or utility maintenance experience are welcomed. EPA certification preferred and significant OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Commercial/Industrial HVAC background or equivalent military rating (Army 91C/12K, Air Force 3E1X1, Navy MM/UT highly preferred).
• Experience with heavy systems (chillers, boilers, hydronics, controls) and alignment/vibration diagnostics.
• Universal EPA certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, PMs, and repairs on commercial HVAC machinery, centrifugal chillers, air handlers, and digital control networks.
• Utilize laser alignment tools and vibration analysis systems to ensure peak operational performance.
• Serve as a key technical advisor for client accounts and mentor junior technicians.
