Job summary

jobs-veteransprime seeks a Data Center Senior Service Tech (HVAC Mechanic) to diagnose, PM, and repair complex HVAC systems, including centrifugal chillers and air handlers. You will work with advanced control networks and lead technical initiatives on key client accounts.

The role emphasizes mentorship of junior technicians and leveraging military-grade training to maintain high reliability with strong OT requirements.

Qualifications

• Commercial/Industrial HVAC background or equivalent military rating (Army 91C/12K, Air Force 3E1X1, Navy MM/UT highly preferred).
• Experience with heavy systems (chillers, boilers, hydronics, controls) and alignment/vibration diagnostics.
• Universal EPA certification (preferred).

• Perform advanced diagnostics, PMs, and repairs on commercial HVAC machinery, centrifugal chillers, air handlers, and digital control networks.
• Utilize laser alignment tools and vibration analysis systems to ensure peak operational performance.
• Serve as a key technical advisor for client accounts and mentor junior technicians.
