Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking an on-site Security Officer in Cheyenne, WY.

The role focuses on safeguarding people, property, and information and requires reliable, punctual, and professional individuals who adhere to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. Responsibilities include securing entrances, patrolling the client’s premises, interacting with employees and guests, and reporting safety issues and incidents with detailed, timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Rate: $23.00-$26.00/Hour

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security experience a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
