Position
Data Center Security Installation Project Manager
Location
100% Onsite in Herndon, Virginia.
Responsibilities
Oversee the installation of electronic security systems at multiple sites.
Establish and implement procedures and controls to ensure that security installation projects are completed on time and within budget.
Manage project site managers and supervisors.
Interface with customer personnel and respond to their issues and concerns.
Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades.
Manage subcontractors and oversee their performance.
Document project issues/conditions.
Prepare installation proposals, change orders, and schedules.
Prepare status reports and briefings.
Responsible for the overall financial management of the project(s).
Responsible for on-time project completion.
Coordinate and run a project kick-off meeting (PKOM).
Forecast cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
Order materials, tools, and equipment.
Prepare monthly reports analyzing the budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
Identify opportunities for cost‑saving measures, quality improvement and incorporating best practices.
Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
Plan and execute project completion and punch list.
Oversee warranty service for completed installations.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BS) or 7+ years of experience with a Master's Degree in Engineering. Experience working on electrical projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M.
Experience working with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
Experience using sophisticated Project Management, CPM Scheduling, Cost and AutoCAD software.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints and drawings on electrical projects. Familiar with standard deliverables and work process on projects.
Must have strong interpersonal and writing skills and be a problem owner/solver. Proven ability to effectively plan and organize one's own activities or the activities of others.

Experience with scheduling (MS Project) is a plus.
