Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Project Leader 1)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the overall administration, organization, and implementation of large data center electronic security installation projects.
- Be on site every day at the Columbus, Ohio data center.
- Be responsible for overall financial management of the project(s).
- Ensure on‑time project completion.
- Coordinate and run a project kick‑off meeting (PKOM).
- Forecast cash flow and manpower needs.
- Order materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare price proposals and change orders.
- Prepare monthly reports analyzing budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
- Identify opportunities for cost‑saving measures, quality improvement, and best‑practice incorporation.
- Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
- Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics with 7+ years experience;
- or MS degree with 5+ years experience.
Requirements
- Supervise Construction Project Managers and perform PM duties on construction projects.
- Maintain operational and administrative control for construction projects; extensive project management experience managing teams and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in up‑front project involvement with engineering firms, the client, and general contractors.
- Proven track record of successful projects; managed diverse groups on projects involving multi‑discipline knowledge such as fire alarm, communications, security, AV, power, and instrumentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Can direct cross‑function teams to reach mutual agreement to meet business objectives.
- Able to work in a diverse environment with personnel of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong analytical thinking to evaluate options and directions.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Can facilitate change and communicate effectively.

Pay Range: USD $112,560.00 - USD $168,840.00 / Yr.
