Job summary

Salute, a leading provider of Data Center Infrastructure Services, is seeking a Data Center Security Officer to protect client facilities and ensure safe operations. You will conduct patrols, manage access control, monitor CCTV and alarms, and report incidents across shifts at a Mesa, AZ site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• A team player with a helpful disposition.
• Excellent computer skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen.
• Must have a Valid Guard Card.

Responsibilities

• Patrol exterior grounds of the facility.
• Provide access control for gates ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted.
• Manage traffic flow at gates to ensure no disruption in business operations.
• Maintain access log.
• Monitor cameras after normal working hours.
• Notify DPR personnel of any issues.
• Observe and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to promote physical security and safety.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Contribute to communication and awareness of security policies and issues as needed; warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits; Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
