The Safety Manager, leads operations in areas of injury prevention, task assessment, safety communications, hazardous materials storage and transportation compliance, and regulatory compliance. This is completed by developing, implementing, and managing company safety programs, policies and procedures to create a safe, secure, healthy, and accident-free work environment. This position will need to ensure that the Groups' Health, Safety & Environmental Policies & Procedures are specific within the DSV Solutions environment and that sites are complying with all statutory requirements (including but not limited to OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001) where applicable.
The Safety Manager functions as a subject matter expert and consultant to manage highly technical HSE subject matters with site management teams, corporate HSE, external regulatory agencies, talent development, and provides strategic leadership for site-level staff to build sustainable loss improvement processes and to ensure program effectiveness.
