Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support mission critical data center projects. You will work with project leads to enforce the safety program on job sites and promote a safe work environment while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role involves safety assessments, developing procedures, incident investigations, and training. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits and opportunity for growth within a dynamic electrical contracting company.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 construction certification is required.
• 3+ years of safety experience in construction preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in an active commercial construction environment.
• Valid driver’s license and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety assessments/inspections on active projects to ensure compliance with safety plans and regulations.
• Collaborate with project safety team to develop and implement safety policies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce injuries and health risks on site.
• Assist in development of Method of Procedure (MOP) and critical activity plans.
• Lead safety training for supervisors and field employees.
• Provide written reports documenting site visits and incidents.
