Job summary

LINX is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead safety compliance on data center construction projects nationwide, with 100% travel to project sites. All travel expenses are covered by the company.

You will develop comprehensive safety plans, conduct JHA and PTSA analyses, train crews, and ensure adherence to OSHA and local regulations while coordinating with project managers to integrate safety into every phase of operations.

Qualifications

• 5-years of relevant safety experience in construction.
• OSHA 30 certification and related safety credentials.
• Proficient in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Pre-Task Safety Analysis (PTSA).
• Proven experience in on-the-job safety adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly structured with strong attention to detail.
• Coachable, takes direction well, and works effectively with others.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a daily on-site presence during normal construction hours.

• Collaborate with project managers and crews to integrate safety into operations.
• Monitor proper PPE usage and ensure safety equipment is maintained.
• Assist with cabling tasks and provide safety insights for data center operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Job Site Presence – Maintain a daily on-site presence during normal construction hours.
• Safety Program Management – Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs for data center construction.
• Safety Documentation – Create and manage Job Hazard Analyses ( JHA ), and Pre-Task Safety Analyses ( PTSA )
• Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations ; conduct regular job site inspections.

• Specialized Support (Preferred) – Assist with cabling tasks and provide safety insights for data center operations.

Minimum Requirements

• 5-years of relevant safety experience in construction
• OSHA 30
• Can proficiently develop a JHA: Job Hazard Analysis and PTSA: Pre-Task Safety Analysis
• Proven experience in on-the-job safety adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly structured with strong attention to detail.
• Coachable, takes direction well, and works effectively with others.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check & drug screen.

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, Occupational Health, Construction Management, or related field preferred

• Construction Knowledge – Ability to read construction drawings and implement cabling pathways.

Pay Rate

$35.00 - $45.00/hour
