Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Mid Level Structural Designer to join the Drafting & Design team in the Industrial & Water Engineering group. The role focuses on 3D designs for concrete, steel, modular elements, and foundations using REVIT and Navisworks, with a constructability mindset.

Your work will coordinate with other design disciplines, manage BIM/ACC data, and ensure documentation is maintained through all design phases, aligning with project requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural design experience in steel and concrete using REVIT.
• 2+ years with Navisworks and Autodesk documents.
• Experience designing foundations, platforms, pipe racks, tanks for industrial facilities.
• Ability to interpret multi-discipline engineering and vendor documents.
• Coordinate with design team and construction to ensure constructability.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D designs of concrete, structural steel, modular elements, and foundations using REVIT and Navisworks.
• Coordinate with other design group members; leverage BIM/ACC for plans and reports.
• Maintain project design documentation through all phases of design and construction.
• Ensure project details and specifications are coordinated with the construction team.
