Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in the United States is seeking experienced Structural Designers to join our team. You will contribute to the design and modeling of foundations and steel structures within a nuclear-focused environment, leveraging BIM and Revit to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

The role involves coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, mentoring peers, and contributing to department standards while supporting a growth-oriented, safety-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAD vocational training program.
• 5-10+ years of structural design experience using Revit.
• Ability to interpret multi-discipline engineering and vendor documents.
• US citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design group team members to review and exchange project information.
• Check design for consistency, safety, operability and maintenance requirements.
• Gather information and collaborate with engineers to develop BIM models for foundations and steel structures.
• Leverage BIM to create plans, drawings and details.
• Mentor other team members in design and modeling techniques.
• Resolve design issues with input from responsible parties.
