Job summary

The Archetype Strategy is seeking a skilled Data Technician for a 1 month project in Chesapeake, Virginia. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of prior data center rack and stack experience.
• Basic understanding of server hardware and networking equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail for proper installation and cable management.

Responsibilities

• Install servers, switches, routers, and other hardware into server racks.
• Build and configure data cabinets according to safety standards.
• Route, label, and secure cables for efficient data center layout.
• Perform basic diagnostics on installed equipment.
• Monitor temperature, power, and environmental controls in the data center.
