Position: Data Center Quality Inspector I (DCQI-0)

Description

As a Data Center Quality Inspector I, you will provide exceptional quality control services for our clients. Your responsibilities include performing inspections of electrical equipment and systems such as switchgear and substations. A detailed understanding of mechanical and instrumentation aspects is essential to interpret electrical drawings and specifications. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, prepare detailed reports of your findings, and handle documentation like Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requests, team reports, and time tracking. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive safely installed and fully operational equipment.

If you are analytical, detail-oriented, communicate effectively, and prioritize safety, this position may be suitable for you. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications; prepare reports including daily narratives, inspection reports, and time logs.
2. Inspect electrical components such as switchgear, standby generators, and protective relays.
3. Submit LOTO requests, review and approve team reports, and manage time tracking.
4. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standards.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred
• At least two years of experience inspecting, testing, commissioning, or operating electrical distribution systems; experience in commercial or naval nuclear settings is highly desirable
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training
