Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Quality Control Specialist I to ensure products and services meet customers' expectations, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. The role focuses on continuous safety improvements, operational efficiency, and teamwork within the QC and project groups.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in fabrication shop quality control.
• Quality Control training is required.
• OSHA 10
• 20 hours Continuing Education
• Working knowledge of construction codes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Working knowledge of regulatory agency requirements as it pertains to quality control.
• Working knowledge of nondestructive testing techniques.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents (contracts/subcontracts, purchase documents, plans, and specifications).
• Ability to act as a specialist in quality control, keeping up with changes in the industry, and updating staff as well as corporate for any necessary procedural updates.
• Proven ability to supervise, communicate and lead personnel.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Responsibilities

• QC Documentation: Input, maintain, and track deficiencies within the QC software system.
• Site QC Audits: Assist senior technicians in troubleshooting and performing visual inspections to ensure installed products meet project requirements, standards, and codes.
• QC Project Reporting: Document and communicate the progress, findings and outcomes of quality control activities within the project.
• Review of Project Documents: Review project documents for accuracy and completeness, checking for errors and missing information related to drawings and specs.
• Mentoring and Training: Attend training sessions with QC and project teams; maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, inspections, weld maps, torque maps, and compliance records.
• Site QC Audits: Visually inspect to ensure products meet project requirements and communicate quality issues to supervisors.
• QC Project Reporting: Document unresolved issues and drive continuous improvement with project teams.
• Review of project documents: Ensure QC processes comply with industry standards and local codes.
