Job summary

AECOM is seeking Data Center Quality Assurance Managers to work on site in Las Vegas, NV. You will lead inspectors to ensure workmanship, materials and equipment meet contract requirements and coordinate with the Client on quality issues.

The role requires managing defect logs, NCRs, and progress reporting while ensuring compliance with project plans; travel up to 90% may be involved.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management (preferred).
• CQM or other professional certifications (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead team of inspectors reviewing workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with contract requirements.
• Maintain a list of defects and omissions and the Non-Conformance Notice log.
• Monitor contractor quality program for conformance to the plan throughout construction.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions; oversee punchlist and Zero Defect walkthrough.
• Provide input for weekly project reports and monthly progress reports; act as the Owner's point of contact.

Job Description

AECOMis seeking Data Center Quality Assurance Managers to work on site in Las Vegas, NV.

Job responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

• Lead team of inspectors reviewing the construction contractors’ workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with the requirements of the construction contracts.
• Maintain a list of all defects and omissions.
• Maintain Non-Conformance Notice and Open Issues Log Reconciliation.
• Monitor the contractors’ quality program for conformance to the plan throughout the course of construction.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions.
• Perform Punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthrough.
• Reports critical issues to the Construction Management Lead and provide proper resolution.
• Provides input for weekly project reports and monthly progress reports.
• Serves as the direct point of contact for the Owner, ensuring successful project execution and communication.
• Summarizing significant test results in progress reports.
• Verifying that tests are conducted as scheduled, witnessing selected tests, checking test results, if required, overseeing retesting, and retaining test records.
• Maintain professionalism in attire and communication during all time on site and in meetings.
• Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables.
• Conducts periodic site visits for quality assurance, safety compliance, and project tracking.
• Coordinate client Outage / Shutdown Procedure.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• 15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management
• CQM or other professional certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Additional Information

• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
• Relocation is not available for this position.
• Potential up to 90% travel anywhere in US.
