Job summary

KGO is hiring Data Center QA/QC Managers to support multiple U.S. locations. These on-site roles require five days per week at the project site and prefer candidates living within commuting distance to the site.

The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the Quality Control Program across preconstruction to commissioning and closeout. The ideal candidate brings extensive QA/QC experience in heavy industrial/construction settings, data center exposure, and hands-on field leadership to drive

Qualifications

Significant QA/QC experience in heavy industrial construction; 15+ years preferred for manager level.
Data center construction experience strongly preferred.
Familiar with interpreting blueprints, specs and as‑built drawings.
Experience overseeing electrical installations and commissioning processes.
Knowledge of API/ASME specs and code verification.
Proficient in documenting QA/QC activities and audits.

Responsibilities

Establish, implement, and maintain the project's Quality Control Plan (QCP).
Coordinate QA/QC inspections, testing, and field operations.
Review submittals and maintain submittal status logs and testing plans.
Identify nonconforming work and drive corrective actions.
Oversee four‑phase quality process: Submittal, Pre‑Installation, Initial Inspection, Follow‑Up.
Support commissioning through Level 3 and assist with closeout documentation.
