Job summary

Pogue Construction Company seeks a QA/QC Manager for data center and mission critical projects. You will lead quality assurance, coordinate with field leadership and owners, and drive effective testing, startup, and turnover processes.

Candidates should bring extensive QA/QC and MEP knowledge, plus commissioning and documentation expertise to ensure right-first-time execution across complex systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA/QC on data center or mission-critical projects.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience overall.
• Experience with hyperscale, colocation, enterprise data centers or other mission critical facilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, startup procedures, IST, and turnover requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret complex MEP drawings, specifications, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Lead preparatory meetings, inspections, and quality audits for major scopes of work.
• Review and track shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and owner standards for quality compliance.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, MEP Coordinators, VDC teams, and Commissioning Agents.
• Perform routine field inspections to verify installation quality and specification compliance.
• Identify quality deficiencies early and ensure corrective actions are implemented prior to system testing.
• Coordinate quality documentation required for commissioning and turnover.
