Job summary

Apollo Mission Critical Engineering seeks skilled Data Center QAQC Engineers to embed quality assurance in the supply chain and construction phases. You will inspect critical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS, HVAC, and BMS to verify compliance before commissioning.

This is an on-site, client-facing role with substantial travel. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or related field and 1+ year in QA/QC for mechanical or electrical systems in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or related field.
• One year of experience in inspection, validation, and quality control in construction environments.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems in data centers.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving with proactive issue-identification.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review design specifications and construction plans to ensure quality and compliance.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, and storage of equipment for commissioning readiness.
• Perform on-site inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment to verify standards.
• Conduct pre-installation checks and tests; document non-conformities.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors for quality alignment.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of inspections and tests.
• Enforce industry codes, regulations, and standards across project stages.
• Participate in quality audits and identify areas for improvement.
