Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Project Manager for the CPI team to lead electrical, mechanical, and building automation improvement initiatives in our West coast data centers.

You’ll oversee multi-disciplinary projects, ensure on-time delivery, and coordinate with design, construction, and operations to optimize space, power, and cooling. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data center or critical infrastructure project management, strong technical understanding of data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects.
• Review all disciplines including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural.
• Identify areas for improvement and act on data provided from other teams.
• Design, develop and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges.
• Scope includes improvements to electrical, mechanical, fire detection and building automation systems.
