Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Project Manager for the Critical Projects Implementation team.

You will oversee projects across electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to improve utilization of space, power, and cooling in AWS data centers. The role requires strong program management in data centers, familiarity with building codes, and the ability to design and deploy innovative solutions to complex

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience.
Knowledge of critical data center equipment and building codes/regulations.
Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains.

Responsibilities

Provide overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects to ensure alignment with company strategy and goals.
Review and integrate electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines.
Identify areas for improvement and act on data provided by other teams and organizations.
Design, develop and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges.
