Job summary

Carrier is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee data center construction projects in Hubbard, TX. You will lead startup, commissioning, and field modifications of Carrier chillers, coordinating with engineering, field service, commissioning authorities, general contractors and subcontractors.

The primary site is Hubbard, TX, with extensive travel possible. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates who meet relocation program requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of project management experience, or 4+ years in mechanical installation, building automation, electrical installation, or construction.
• 2+ years reading and interpreting blueprints, and technical mechanical systems documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup, commissioning, and field modification processes for Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers in data centers.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
• Track and review KPIs to monitor project success.
• Coordinate with stakeholders through progress meetings and address design, material delivery, and labor schedules.
• Ensure projects meet or exceed booked profit margins and manage change orders.
