Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects across the U.S. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk with multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases.

The role requires a track record of leading design/build or EPC projects, including power delivery, water systems, networking, and site development, with client-facing responsibilities and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• PMP certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects with major U.S. clients.
• Develop scope, schedule, and budget with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and clients for on-time delivery.
• Manage project financial performance including forecasting and invoicing.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams and promote collaboration.
• Resolve complex issues related to BMS/EPMS integration.
• Ensure quality, safety, and contract compliance.
