Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects nationwide. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across all phases of infrastructure delivery.

The ideal candidate has proven experience planning, engineering design-build/EPC projects for data centers, including power, water, networking, and civil site development. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing design and/or construction projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
• PMP certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects and programs for major U.S. clients.
• Develop project scope, schedule, and budget with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines, contractors, and client stakeholders.
• Manage project financials including forecasting and invoicing.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams and ensure adherence to standards.
